The name Prowatt inc. inspires respect and trust. Founded in 1985 in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, the company is the fruit of the dynamic association of seven experts in industrial, commercial and residential electrical projects.

In 1992, Prowatt inc. founded its subsidiary Les Lignes du Fjord to meet the needs of high voltage contracts.

In 1996 and 1997, Prowatt inc. expands by expanding its building by 3,600 square foot. It also purchases the electricity companies Yves Laroche and G & G Fleuri.

In 2009, four new shareholders took over. This is the realization of the succession plan that was put in place in 2001.

In 2015, Prowatt inc. celebrated 30 years of loyal service.

In 2016, three new shareholders join the team.

Today, Prowatt Inc. is involved in more than 100 projects per year and has more than 100 employees.

Prowatt inc. has been occupying her premises on Bauman Street since 1988. That year, it founded the independent company Racman inc. to take care of the manufacturing of electrical equipments

This new service complements the services of Prowatt inc. in addition to allowing to approach a new clientele. Today, Racman inc. deals with maintenance contracts, telecommunication and networking.
